Radical stage
Groups of the rebellion struggle against each other for complete control of France. There were two large groups who contained the most power, they were the Moderates and the Radicals, also known as "The Mountain". At the end of the struggle, The mountain, led by Maximilien Robespierre, finally won the struggle and took control over France. He put Louis XVI on trial, where he was found guilty and finally executed along with his family and people that worked with him
